Where Do LadyBugs Sleep?

Okay... Now it is day 2 of my 30 poems of April poetry challenge in which I am striving to write at least one poetic verse every single day.

With two down and 28 to go, my next poem is a simple one about ladybugs and sleeping. I decided to write this one after spotting ladybugs crawling around the backyard this day and deciding to take their pictures. They're finding places to take a snooze while I photographed them might have struck me as insulting had their tiresomeness not come as an unexpected, yet welcomed and pleasurable surprise...

Now you may enjoy the pics with the poem...

Where Do LadyBugs Sleep?

Where do ladybugs sleep...?

Perhaps in your pajamas

Or maybe your dear momma's

Red yellow blueish green

Where do ladybugs sleep...?

How 'bout in locomotives

Combustible coal deposits

Forcing train wheels to roll

Where do ladybugs sleep...?

Perhaps inside the lamp shade

Switched off bulb's heat won't be made

Too hot or charge a toll

Where do ladybugs sleep...?

One true place is beneath grass

Green blades provide full shade as

They cuddle unafraid

You can leave a poem of your own or help a kid leave one for others to read in the comments section below... Also, feel free to comment on what you think of this one. Ladybugs do sleep in other places such as tree branches and leaves.
