Now the llth day into my 30-day poetry-writing spree, I took little breaks to capture bumblebees buzzing around a Pink Lady bush. As stated above, the Dwarf Pink Hawthorns are favorite bushes of mine. They are forgiving plants that tolerate various climates and soil types; and their leaves emit beauty even in the absence of their flowers and berries.
Now for the flower and bumblebee poem...
Pink Lady and the Swarming Bumblebees
Pink lady never fretted when
Honeybees neared her house
To prove she had no fear
She welcomed them in her best blouse
Elongated leaves—lush and lovely shades of green
Clusters of lavishing flowers bearing the color of her name
Hither and don
Swayed her flowers
Luring the bees that
Help them spawn
As cute as swans
Her eight-petal flowers
Sipped foggy moisture
Into the dawn
Swarming around her
Bumblebee bodies
Golden heads and backs and legs
Gathering nectar
Flying it way far
Into the hives they built for queen eggs
Swaying branches—the short and the long
Dancing fair jigs to spring’s tender song
Prompt Pink Lady’s beautiful flora
Coax gold bees—take all they can hold

Below is a short video clip of a flowering Pink Lady bush. You can see honey bees gathering nectar and spreading pollen as they fly from one pink flower blossom to another.
I hope you enjoyed this bee meets flower poem and learned a bit as well.
Meanwhile, and as always, you can leave a poem of your own, especially one about bees and or flowers, in the comments section below. Plus, don't forget you can help a kid leave a poem for me and others to read in the comments section as well...
Thanks for visiting!
